Pale Squash

    Hi All
    I have planted a squash plant in the allotment and it seems to be growing Ok but it looks very pale in colour any ideas why this might be??

    Yes, me too. Assuming they're not nitrogen-starved, and I know mine aren't, I suspect they'll get going shortly. It maybe still a touch cool for them.

    Hi Manteur

    It looks like mine may be starting to grow I have a couple more to go in, I wonder if it is worth spreading a bit of Blood Fish & Bone about before I plant the next couple.

    Hi David, yes I think mine are getting going a bit more now as well. I expect they will green-up as they grow on. As I understand it, BF&B is slow release so unlikely to do anything but good. Squashes can produce monster crops and I expect we'll both end up pretty pleased.
