For some reason the leaves on my chilli plants have turned a sorry pale green. Some have yellow speackles on them. Does anyone know why this would happen? Its indoors on my window sil.

    Hi Herb,

Sorry to hear that, blimey, could be all sorts of things, thrips, aphids, magnesium defficiency. But most likeley is the time of year & the lack of light.

Check for bugs & give em a small dose of epsom salts but otherwise you're looking at cutting the stems back to about half the length at this time of year & only watering sparingly.

They will come back stronger in the spring.

Only 31 days till solstice now :yho:

    Or overwatered maybe.
At this time time of year they want to be pretty dry.
Never had any success at overwintering chillies.
They get through the winter OK but don't take off in the spring.
    But other people manage it.
