Ive been playing with "stitching" several images to produce one panaramic.
As I do not have many pictures to play with at the moment I can only produce one of Grimwith reservior in Yorkshire.
Something I intend to develop during the winter months

That's worked rather well Robert. I was reading something recently that suggested taking pics in portrait orientation for panoramas - you have to take more pics but the final product looks less stretched. Not tried it yet myself though.

Good tip Dave. Im sure there would have been some real nice pictures out there in the snow today, but listening to the local radio this morning it sounded really bad to venture anywhere by driving.
So I made a fish pie instead !!!

OK... This image is processed from 15 portrait pictures taken this afternoon of one of our village ponds.
I have not cropped it as you can see. I think it works well as it is
    What do you think.

Its fantastic when you think it has been made up of 15 pics. If I look at it for a while though, it makes me feel a bit dizzy, does that make any sense??.............. On the other hand it might have something to do with me being blonde.:roll:02

That scene Im guessing is about 170 degrees so I reckon that is about what we humans can see, but of course we dont tend to process that amount instantaneously and seeing it as it is in a small image we can take more of it in.
    Does that make any sense?
I think we had best enjoy the pictures before those men in white coats pay a return visit....

    ...............................Minster in the wide..................
At last I have come up with an image of the Minster with most of it in the picture.
This was stitched from 20 pictures taken this morning..
