What sort of compost or soil have you used in your pots Anthea? Would they possibly recover with some gentle feeding with a general tomato feed at the recommended concentration>?
    Nice name! [IMG]

why thankyou kind sir [IMG] I've been using multipurpose but we have had loads of rain recently and I haven't been out as much as I should so I think you could be right and they need a feed. I will let you know if it works [IMG]

    hi anthea

i had some pansy's in pots last year which went yellow and died i was that excited on planting them out into my new pots i forgot to check if they had holes in the bottom !!!

so they got water logged thats why mine went yellow ,

thought i would post as you say you have had lots of rain and they are in pots just have a little look to make sure the drainage is ok.

    Hi cattwoman

You are probably right. Can't believe how much rain the east coast has had recently when I keep hearing about soaring temps and eveyone saying the garden needs water. I am very pleased to hear from someone in Stoke as I am trying to trace a family member there. I might ask you if you know if certain streets still exist, if you don't mind? :D
