Parsnips

    Planted in 3s took 5 weeks to germinate but despite the cats all managed to come through,
    Q Never had all of them germinate before when do i knock them back to one?

    Hi Micky. If it was me, I'd leave them for a week or two then take out all but the one that looks the most likely to produce a good 'snip'. Not much more than a whim, really. Cheers...freddy.

    Yeah, why do all the gardening books say "Remove the weakest" when they all look identical. Is it to make you feel less of a murderer?!

    Thanks Freddie/Kristen if i had my way i would have them all the old SLAVEdriver and myself luv em , got to go now (Murder some snips)

    Mine are at the same stage - 1st time growing them.

    Some groups are stronger than others - if I had to choose between bundles of parsnips that would be easy!!
