Parsnips

    I've been told these are quite hard to grow, is this true? I'll have to grow them in a container as I don't have a garden.

    most problems with snips can be down to just a few things:-
    Seed must be fresh
    dont try transplanting so direct thinly
    dont sow until soil is warm
    well dug seed bed not to many stones and no fresh manure
    Works for me

      Thanks for the info. I'll just stick them in a comtainer with some nice compost and see what happens :)
