Long story made short , I was in the right place at the right time
to have the possibility of spend a day with some of the most famous passiflora growers of the world , plants exchange was going on and I had to keep few plant for a friend ... don`t even think of growing one of them myself , I saw what it take to grow them and I don`t have a chance , but it was nice to learn and see .....

    on the left

    Passiflora Lindeniana

but the most impressive of all is the stick on the right

    Passiflora Macrophylla

(even meet the guy from the pictures)

what was really faschinating about this picture is that this plant will produce giant leaves , flowers and then will become a dead stick untill next year ,,,, what was more scary was the fact that this plant will need steam every day , cold at night and hot day humidity , and a perfect soil that just expert can recreate ....

          Sal,

Very nice. Give them a go.
Maybe on a bathroom or kitchen windowsill?

Sirius as much as I would love to take the challenge , it`s lost from the beginning , the plants are for one of the world leading expert who has a greenhouse that will keep at 24c all year around , drop down at night , fog in the morning , cool down in summer and artificial light for winter and after all this he already lost those plants before .....
those plants are nice to see and understand why no one grow them . overall I try to specialise myself in cold hardy hybrids and I`m starting really slowly but already at a good point ;) .....
so far due of the house move I couldn`t plant them in the soil yet , but from next year I should be ready to show some flowers ..
