Very common down south and they can get quite big but there never worth £114:scratch:

Assume you mean the common one? Passiflora caerulea

So easy to grow from a cutting all you need is a:
      1. jam jar of water
      2. Piece of tin foil cling film (put over top of jam jar cut a slit for the cutting to go through)
      3. a window sill , sunny but out of direct sun light
      4. and somone on here to send you a cutting or two
Leave it to produce lots of roots then pot into a 4 inch pot multi purpose compost

I'm thinking that link is stretching the truth just a bit.

I'd not expect much from a cutting in a 9cm pot the first year, even from the hardiest species, caerulea, let alone the hybrid "Voileacea" which is even spelt wrong. And that's only £7.99.

        For £114 I'd expect slightly more.:D

I lost my huge one in the garden last winter, but luckily a very kind lady on a swapshop swapped me a couple of rooted cuttings, which are doing really well, swapped for one of those daylily divisions:heehee:, sorry had to get that in for Spruce, can't let the side down:loll:, also have a really lovely one, not hardy, growing in my sunroom 'Crimson Tears', which if I remember rightly cost me £2.50 from a bargain table at a garden centre :dbgrtmb:

This just reinforces my loathing of fleabay all the more.

All the previous purchasers have paid £4.99 - so the current price of £114.99 is presumably just a recent editing cock-up ...

Clearly a mistake. The eBay seller is the same as the other website you link to. It even says so in the eBay ad. I reckon they've just made a typo when listing it.

Yeah it's a typo or the seller has put the price up as he doesn't have any in stock at the moment but wants to keep the buy it now page going so he doesn't have to repay the eBay listing fee:cool:
