    Hi folks

As the title says. Planted a passionflower (blue one) this summer and its already reached the top of the fence which is 6 foot and has bloomed all season. Do I need to prune it back or leave it for another year? It has plenty of growth at the bottom as well as the top and I'm happy for it just to go wherever it wants (covers up the fence)

    Ta in advance

hi, They will get bigger than that, best to prune it back in the spring, as much or as little as you want. but if it's really messy now get the worst off now.

They should be fairly tough in Sussex!

    did it set friut?

No fruit, but I only planted it this summer. Its very luxuriant, so I will probably just tidy it up in Spring.
