Is anyone else busting to get going with seeds for next year already?

I've got all the ones I want to have planted and I wish I could start NOW

I'm not the best person for patience though [IMG]

    anyone else the same?

anyone know of anything I can plant now? :D

Try using a propagator, it hurrys the growth on for seeds and cuttings. Due to using a heated base, you need to keep an eye on the drainage though.

I've just planted up some hyacinth bulbs for Christmas flowering. I'm going to buy loads of bulbs this year and fill all my containers up with colour for the Spring.
I'm impatient too but gardening pays dividends so the wait is worth it - usually!

    Hi Aqua

I know what you mean, I already have lots of seeds for next year as well as a heap of tulip bulbs. You can sow some seeds in Sept/ oct for early flowering next year but check the back of the packets to see which ones. I have some poppy, godetia and corn cockles that im going to sow this weekend. Leave the bulbs for a while yet though. Make sure you mark the place that you sow autumn seeds. I have found from experience that it is easy to forget what you sowed by the time spring comes. Happy sowing.

    Cloudy
