Hello! I'm a complete novice but am getting really enthusiastic about developing my garden. I potted some plants a few days ago but didn't put any gravel/sand in the bottom for drainage. The plants were daisies, geraniums and sweet william. Should I re-pot them? Thanks in advance.

Hi Compwinner welcome to the forum.

I always put some kind of drainage 'stuff' in the bottom of my pots along with some water retaining crystals as pots can dry out quite badly. You can use almost anything to aid drainage I use anything that's knocking around broken pot, hardcore, gravel etc. whatever is handy.Good luck with your pots and happy gardening.;) Hel.xxx.
