Ok, finally got my bank account attached to paypal, but every time I try to put the "donate" button code into my html source on my website it comes up with fatal error:(

    Am I doing something stupid?

Thanks in advance for any help:help::help::help:

    Ziggy .... check this:

    https://merchant.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=merchant/donations

if you have followed the procedures and it still does not work, use the contact button on the link I gave and email them

they are really good and normally respond on the same day

if you still have no luck, pm me and I will supply you with a phone number (the number I used was when I traded on ebay and was a powerseller .... call centre is in Ireland, but really friendly helpful folk who will sort the prob in minutes)

I use Paypal a lot on E-bay to purchase stuff.
Recently i received an e-mail to say that I have used my limited amount of money for my Paypal account of just under £2,000. I cannot use my Paypal account now, and paid the last couple of account fees by Postal Order (at a price)
Still need to resolve the issue here too. What a puzzle.
No understanding how to fix the problem.

      Hi BG,

I'd use Dim's link to enquire if I were you.

Had an e mail back, they have sorted it already:dbgrtmb:

I think PayPal have this stupid security measure which means after yiu have spent over £2000 through it you have to confirm your bank account or something:rolleyespink:

not sure how it works, but thought that new sellers are initially restricted to £2000

so if you are using your account to buy and sell, that may be the prob

contact them and am sure they will sort it
