This is an old recipe my grandfather used to make &it has been handed down the family, it is scrummy.. It gets stronger with age if stored properly... :rolleyespink: :D

    4lb. Pea Pods
    1 Lemon
    3 1/2lb. Sugar
    1 Gallon of Water
    1tsp. Yeast

    Method..
Boil the pea pods with the pared rind of the Lemon in the water till tender.
Strain onto the sugar & stir well to dissolve the sugar.
    Leave to cool.
When lukewarm add the previously activated yeast & the juice of the lemon.
Stir & leave in a warm place for 24hrs well covered.
Pour into the fermentation jar and insert the air-lock.
Leave to ferment to the finish in a warm place.
    Syphon off & bottle.
It clears very quickly everytime I make it & as I said the longer you can keep it the better it is... :WINK1: :D

BTW I store the pea pods in the freezer until I have 4lbs.. :WINK1:

You mean longer than the 3 week old stuff i'm drinking at the moment ?

Going to put a 5 gallon brew on in the greenhouse tomorow, the extra co2 will increase plant production.

I read this as 'pee pot wine' first time around, but 'pea pod' sounds much nicer. :)
