We've had a Peace Lilly in our living room for almost 10 years now, and up until the last couple of years it was coming along great.

Since the the tips of the leaves keep turning brown, which I initially thought was over watering but it carried on doing it even after we cut back on watering. Any ideas??

It's always been in the same spot, where it catches early morning summer sunshine. Bit of a pity TBH, as it was starting to look great, with many flowers developing, but since I've removed all of the dead foliage there's now only 3 or 4 branches on it. :o

If it's been in the same pot for 10 years maybe it needs repotting with a bigger pot and fresh compost.

No, it's not in the same pot, it's been repotted a few times, though I don't suppose a fresh helping of compost will hurt it.
