I have a recently planted peach tree which has developed red raised areas on the leaves - please see picture. I would be grateful if anyone can advise me about this.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi
    You have peach leaf curl
Its a fungus , I woudnt take the leaves off others may disagree as to remove the leaves puts the plant under stress , you need a fungicide to spary the tree all over.

And you have to come up with a plan in the spring of what you are going to do to manage it throught the year

Thats why I have given up growing them ££££

Thanks very much for the reply. Doesn't sound too optimistic. The tree is very close to some ripening strawberries at present so don't fancy doing any spraying in the vicinity. Maybe for now chance the leaf removal if there aren't too many affected.

Peach leaf curl for sure Geoff.

See this RHS advice for how to control it. (Too late for this year's crop though)

I've had it in the past but now manage to avoid it through spraying as per the advice below.
Got a hellish invasion of RSM this year though, but shouldn't affect the crop much.
