    Hi all,

I have recently won myself two peanut plants off eBay. I am new to gardening and I have no idea whether it will actually grow peanuts or not.

Does anyone have any advice for me about these plants.

    Cheers Babyboy515.

Some years ago, (as a joke, because Mr. F'smum was 'addicted' to them), some friends bought us a 'Grow your own peanuts' kit - it came with everything except the container to actually grow them in and, following advice on the packet, we used an old bucket. I can't remember what the plant(s) was/were like, (I think it only got to about a foot or just over, high) but we did get peanuts - about a dozen of them! It was fun though.

Years ago we grew peanuts in our greenhouse. We didn't really know what to do but grew them in large pots, watered them when we watered the tomatoes and they grew with no trouble at all. Not much crop for the space used but it was fun just to say we had grown them :thmb:
