    Hi everyone.

Mr Kandies sister celebrates Thirty years of marriage at the end of this month.I know that it is a Pearl celebration but at the moment Mr Kandy and I are struggling to find a suitable presant for them.

We found a photo frame at the weekend with Mother of Pearl round the edge but it looked a bit cheap and tacky. If any one can suggest a suitable item we can buy other than a pearl necklace and where to buy the item from we would be most greatful...Thanks [IMG]

    Hello, Kandy. [IMG]

How about a shrub/tree with "pearl" in the name? I know there are several Camellias available in the States but not sure if they are in the UK.

Of course, I wouldn't say no to some rubies next month but will look for a shrub/tree and then fret on where to plant it.

Try having a look round old "junk" shops. You sometimes mother ofpearl articles that have scenes etched on them.

Kandy it's so hard finding gifts of this nature one rule of thumb that seems to work well for me at least is that if 'I' think I wouldn't mind it then the gift has got to be right to give to someone else and as you say if you think it's tacky move on and try and find something else!Hel.xxx.
