    Hi All,

I have my horticultural fleece at the ready as shrubs , magnolia Camellia buds are swelling all to fast for my liking, so I use clothes pegs to attach as they clip on easily and clip off to the branches etc

    Anyone else use

I use them for attaching net curtains (from jumble sales) to runner bean structures and around outdoor cordon tomatoes because I grow them in rows up mini runner bean like A frame structures.

Also useful for clipping onto a siphon tube above the demijohn/fermenter neck when racking off homebrew to keep the end of it above the sediment at the bottom.

We also use them for attaching our washing to our washing line, a use which many people do not seem to know about as they use their tumble driers whatever the weather's like.

When they're worn out they go on the fire (always buy wooden ones). We've got some genuine 'gypsy' clothes pegs made from Goat Willow and strips of metal from baked bean cans.

Another use for clothes pegs is clipping them onto a bamboo cane at the distances required for planting stuff out, much easier than using a retractable steel tape measure.

They can also be used to make 'works of art', but I suppose if that had been by Tracy Vermin the clothes driers would have been full of dirty knickers, bras, etc.
