Are there any Cypriot members on this forum please?
I only ask as I'm after a Pelargonium plant that is/was very popular with the Cypriot community as an indoor plant.
I'm half Cypriot myself and was given one by my grand mother many years ago but I moved house last year and it suddenly died.
I would love to get another one but so far I have drawn a blank as to which one it is, there appears to be so many scented Pelargoniums.
I have attached a picture of what I believe the leaves look like, unfortunately I have no pictures of the actual plant I had.
The leaves are extremely lemon scented when touched and also in situ.
If anyone knows about this plant, has one and would be kind enough to let me have a few small cuttings I would be so grateful.
Or if anyone has seeds or can provide direct links to where either the seeds or plant can be bought, that too would be great.
    I am in North Hertfordshire.
I've trawled garden centres in the hope of finding one but they always have the wrong leaves.
Please message me if you can help.
    All help greatly appreciated. X

@PEANUTPARADISE how large did your specimen grow and what colour and size were the flowers? Further information may help identify the variety. The leaf shape shown in your picture is common to several, maybe many, varieties some of which are very vigorous and others much more dainty.

It grew quite big with strong stems....the leaves were like that of the picture I posted but mine never flowered, probably because I was always giving away cuttings. I never grew it for the flowers to be honest...the smell of the leaves and the connection to my grand mother was enough for me and I miss it terribly x

Sorry, pretty sure I had a plant of this lemon scented Pelargonium for many years.
Lost it some time ago due to neglect mainly.

Thanks for the link Bee Happy. Here again lies the problem.... It says citrus and lemon varieties and also there are so many that without seeing the plants in person it's difficult to know which one to choose.
              Thanks x

@PEANUTPARADISE do you think it might be an idea to send that photo to the nursery growers to ask for ID help, after all, they are the specialists and more likely to recognize the minor differences in the leaves :dunno: just a thought .....do hope you can get some help with this special sentimental plant hunt :fingers crossed:....plants are soooo personal to us :spinning:

My husband has given me two pictures he took without me knowing. This was just before it died. We had to cut it back quite drastically after we moved and it looked like it was recovering but it wilted and then died. Does this help with ID at all?
                Thanks x
