    Can anyone put a name to this scented shrub for me please.

    Yes ....the flowers are incredibly scented.
    In Wiltshire open garden we smelt this beautiful scent...tracked it to a tree of Clerodendrum trichotomum which was some distance away.
    Had one in Wales and never ever noticed any fab scent. Hmmm!
    The vibrant blue berries/bracts in autumn are an added bonus.
    Often posted as a query when people think they are the red flowers!

      As soon as I saw the name I remembered what it was. The ones at Bodnant Gardens are labelled.
