    Hi,
Is it too early to start cutting back last years growth? I have had a look at it today and there's lots of new growth already.... am I being too impatient :)

Hi there. I'd leave it for now until there's a definite swing towards warmer weather. The forecast is for the weather to turn cold again later this week. So, maybe leave it for now. I never grew those before ( my seedlings are up though!) so I'm certainly no expert. Hopefully someone can add more to what I've said. Cheers...freddy.

Yes, don't cut them back yet until there is plenty of new growth around the base. I made that mistake one year with mine and lost them :(
