Penstemon on the move

Hi friends,

I need to resite my 2 penstemon as they have over-run the border, now as i understand it they only have the one root so i have to be careful and trace the trifid back to it. Any idea's on the best time for this?

Hi Paula had a little look around on the web for you not good news I'm afraid with regard to moving the Penstemon according to the page I find (below) but you never know darling someone else might have some better advice for you.Hel.xxx.
