    .

    Hi!

Did anyone watch GW tonight from the NEC?

If so, when they were showing the peony plants they said when they could/should be divided/transplanted.

I was out but my wife was watching and mentioned them to me,but was unsure whether they said August, Sept or October was the time to do so.

I have been promised half of a large clump of a double white one which is sweetly scented and would like to move at the correct time!

As Hank the Yank would be inclined to say, I would be "SURE" pleased if some one could provide the answer!

    Cheers!

EArly Autumn is the best time and do not plant deeply. The top of the growth point should be no more than an inch below the soil surface. A lot of mine are actually above it and they flower ok.
