Peony Problem

    I think my peony has leaf blotch if google lens is to believed! What should I do? I would like to cut it right down as it looks unsightly but most of the sites I have looked at say wait till autumn? Thanks

    It does look awful, but I think if you cut it down now you may not get any flowers next year.
