    HI
My son ordered a collection of 24 Perennials for me as a suprise, (without telling me )They arrived today in a small box, containing 8 small plastic bags with 3 items in each. they loook like roots in very dry compost.
The weather here is gale force winds and torrential rain, for the third day now.Can i plant now or would i be better potting them and placing them in a cold greenhouse.

Hi Wiseoldowl. If I was you I would pot them on into say three inch pots and put them into a greenhouse,or cold frame if you have either. If you put them out now, then there is a good chance that the root system won't be strong enough tpo support them.If you can,try to grow them on over the winter and plant out in the spring when the ground warms up,because it is now getting too cold to plant them out
