Has anyone tried digging this stuff up?I decided i`d go and sort out the cold frames earlier, but as i walked past the veg plot i thought i`ll just get rid of the gammy turnips and then i`ll tackle the spinach.First i tried with a fork, then thought, find the spade Elaine.Honestly,i thought brussels were hard work but.....for anyone thinking of growig it,put it somewhere you know it can stay, cause it`s murder to shift. :D

Yes, they get large tap roots that look like parsnips :D Took some out the other day but I don't think they were as bad as yours seem to be.
A mattock is always good for this type of job, or maybe a pickaxe? :D
