Persicaria leaves look sickly

    Hi everyone I'm hoping someone would be able to help me the leaves on my persicaria look sickly and mottled does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this.

    Looks like classic red spider mite to me.
    Get a hand lense and look especially under the leaves.

    Hiya Finn, where is this growing? Is it hot and dry there? What variety too?

    Thank you Pete, I looked under a few leaves and spotted powdery look. I don't have a hand lens, but fairly certain it is the red spider mite.
