Yesterday (Christmas Day) I was at my elder daughter's and took around fifty pictures. The one that stood out for me is below and has to be my picture of 2012, having almost reduced me to tears.

Skyping with my younger daughter in Canada, I took this on screen shot of my two year old grand-daughter building a relationship with her aunt. :)

So, everyone, let's have your favourite picture and what it means to you, for all to see!

Seeing Poppy looking happy again on our first proper family holiday without the mrs.

She said she never knew we could go on holiday together without all the shouting.

Sheal, that is an amazing photograph and a super memory captured! :wub2:

Zigs: I find that quite touching :cry3:

Unfortunately, I am barred from posting the picture which summed up 2012 for me, which was taken yesterday, capturing a very silly, but hugely fun moment: on the promise that I would never post it on the internet (my boys would never forgive me :heehee: ) Suffice to say, it featured: a wolf, a skeleton and a hedgehog (and I'm not saying which one I was).

I'll try and find another ...

Hard to choose just one from a stack of photos of our granddaughter but this one sums up the fun we have with her. Not at her prettiest but with a face full of mischief (and chocolate).

Doing the cube is dead easy when all the faces are the same chocolate colour. :hapydancsmil:

                      A bump to this thread!

A few things stood out for me last year, 2013. But this has to be the most memorable.......the snowstorm we had at Easter. The damage it did to the islands countryside and livestock was amazing and sad at the same time, with the loss of 15,000 animals.

Cronk-y-Voddy, one of the most famous TT straights and main road into my village. The village had to be dug out!

My granddaughter putting the world to rights in the middle of the school play.
Not knowing or caring what the next hundred years has in store for them.

This pic.was taken from distance and zoomed, so quality is poor ,but that wasn't the point.
