While picking broad beans today I found someone already there, on pest control duties

And a very determined look he has in his eye too!

 

Ha ha ha probably not, he's not just your common European tree frog, he's a stripeless and is only found on the Iberian peninsular, to just north of the Pyrenees. Here he is at the northern limit of his range. In my last home, fifteen minutes north of here (as the car drives) there were both common and stripeless, so that must be the very furthest north they like to go.
