We have deer that wander through the area early in the morning browsing on whatever pleases them. They eat the leaves off pepper plants and will take a bite out of green tomatoes. They are cute, but sort of pests none the less, and brazen because they just look at you and go right back to browsing like they own the place. We have to just tolerate them. :nonofinger:

We live in a suburb, but as wildlife's territory is being developed they don't have much choice but to live where they can. They seem to know that hunting is not allowed, and dogs can not roam free, so they really have no predators. Lately I have seen fox, racoons, skunks, bobcat, coyote, groundhogs, and there are literally thousands of Canada geese. Also, an occasional bear, and a few years ago we had a moose walk down the road. Some idiot was chasing it, and I have no idea of what he was going to do if it caught it. The animal stood about 7 feet at the shoulder and must have weighted a thousand pounds. Being a amateur photographer I love "shooting" wildlife, so I guess I can tolerate the deer and lose a few tomatoes as I have them in the greenhouse anyway. :)
