As I have dogs I'm always extremely wary about using any type of pesticides. However, I'd like to try and keep down the aphids and assorted fungal diseases that my roses and buddleias are subject to. I'm thinking of trying Rose Clear Ultra, this stuff:

Rose Clear Ultra Gun 1L Contact Systemic Insecticide and Fungicide Spray | eBay

but of course there are the usual precautions about using around pets, etc.

Due to not wanting to affect bees, ladybirds, etc I understand that it's best to spray in the late evening, but how long does it take after spraying before the plants and flowers are "safe", not only to bees and insects but also to any dogs that may brush against them, lick them (unlikely!), chew on a dropped leaf, etc?

Presumably they will be "safe" after a few hours?

I don't know about that specific product, but generally it's safe once dry, so 10 minutes or an hour depending on the weather conditions.

Thanks, I was hoping that would be something along those lines.
