    Hello

I have just sprayed my mangetout with 'Bugclear for flowering plants' because I saw loads of tiny caterpillars on the leaves so I panicked and sprayed it with the insecticide. Its my first time growing vegetables and I was trying to do it all organically but I panicked because I thought the caterpillars might affect my mangetout crop.
My mangetout have only just started flowering so I thought it would be ok but I have since read on the bottle that the spray circulates within the plant. So my question is, is it safe to eat the mangetout once they are formed or would I risk ingesting insecticides?
The ingredients in the spray are 0.05g/I acetamiprid it doesn't specify any other ingredients and it didn't say it should not be used on vegetables. I didn't spray a lot because it was running out.
If anyone could advise that would be great as I don't want to poison anyone with my mangetout!

    Thank you,
    SJ
