I have a small, temporary plastic greenhouse, growing tomatoes, chillies and peppers.
I've left the doors open on the greenhouse today, what with it being a gorgeous, summer like day. Then this evening I noticed that all sorts of flying insects were trapped in the upper part of the house, obviously unable to find their way out. These included a bee, a hoverfly, loads of small flies, some wierd looking flying insects I couldn't identify, and a few tiny ones.
Do I just leave them all there? I love bees so I managed to trap him and release him, but do I just leave the others in there?

I answered my own question by closing up the greenhouse for a day or two... once I opened it up for watering they were all dead. Cheers anyway.

Canucks72 you want to encourage hoverflies, not kill them.:gnthb:
