Im aware of the high costs involved if our Mojo the cat needs some serious vet treatment.
I am starting to look at insurance for him.

I used to work for this company Capney so feel ok warning you against them.

Endsleigh Insurance, they have a bad attitude toward clients within the company. I`m sure every company has it`s problems, but after years spent in the insurance industry they were by far the most distasteful to work for.

    Hi Capney.

I'm with Pet Plan and have never had a problem with them. Two bits of advice I can give are ...

    1. Ignore all the fancy "we'll give you £100 to print out posters if your animal gets lost" nonsense. Chances are it'll never happen. Ultimately, it's down to the illness cover so if possible get a policy that covers unlimited illnesses per year for an unlimited period.

    2. See if your vets have a preferred insurance provider. My vets recommended Pet Plan which for me meant that any claim was handled by the vets. All I had to do was fill out the form. It saved me from having to organise that type of stuff myself.

    Ant.

    Capney.

I don't seem to be able to edit the post but ...

"All I had to do was fill out the form."

    ... should read ...

"All I had to do was sign the form."

    Ant.

:thumb: Hi Robert, I have used Petprotect for many years now & never had a problem.. Have had to make 2 claims over the years so far & it hasn't raised the premium much.. They settle very quickly as well..:thumb:
