I dont know enough about it really.
All I know is that some years ago there were plenty of bees and a whole array of insecticides.
Now most insecticides that we buy are ineffective, but we are told they kill bees.

I'm just wondering what is, or has gone on, I know farmers are using things that are much more effective than we can buy, but I was told by some one who grows fruit commercially that most insecticides are very specific to certain pests, these days.

I would like to meet that Canadian person that counted all those 37 million bees.
I bet they were up all night.

        Signed it.

Down with Bayer and it's dodgy history.

I'm no sure that right(could be wrong)
But the one thing that needs to stop is people not doing things right ie spraying things twice if you are only aloud to spray it once etc

I would like to know the true about all chemicals

The truth about chemicals, I'm sure, is very complicated.

I do know that the older ones were not killing bees, as there were plenty of bees just 10 yrs ago.

Its only since the older ones were banned and newer ones have come along that this problem has been considered.
Also, isn't there a disease that has spread amongst the bee population in recent years?

Of course you could ban all modern chemicals.
But you would be very hungry, and paying a lot more for all food.

That's not the fault of the chemical, a bad user of the chemical

Sorry Pete, couldn't help myself, a fly spray that will kill Bees

            http://www.livinghistoryfarm.org/farminginthe70s/pests_06.html

In the stored grain (wheat, barley, oats etc) and you have bugs in the grain and you spray with one make of chemical, you can't spray again with the same chemical in the same harvest year you have to use another, if you use the same chemical you would be brecking the law, and yes some people have sprayed twice :nonofinger: or you can use the gases which would have to be done by a professional fumigater

              I am not anti chemicals.
They are ok if used responsibly.
