My phalaenopsis is just starting to come into bloom again, last year I watched a YouTube video where the guy said that with all his phalaenopsis he has never managed to get the blooms as large as they were when he purchased them. Well my one seems to be proving him correct, the blooms are only half the original size, yes it has been fed etc., Anyone else found this? Maybe why people tend to discard them once they finish blooming?

I've grown the same plants on, for years, even propagated them from the plantlets that form on the flowering stems.
Its easy, but you need the right conditions, the guy on Utube needs to sort himself out.
