Philip???? glengarry23

Good evening Gardeners

I'm hoping everything is alright with our friend philip (glengarry23)
I have been quite busy myself and my visits have not been as often as I'd like.
But it seems odd that I haven't seen anything from Philip recently.

Of course he may be helping his mates out on the boats ,getting them repaired for winter et c

Had anyone been in contact with him ?

Hopefully everything is ok but it's just when he is adding to the forums as often as he does I get t a bit worried .

 

I have also been wondering why he hasn't been posting recently. I know he's had some medical problems lately but I hope all is well with him.
I took a little 'break' from forums recently myself, it was getting on top of me, but it was only about two weeks. I hope it's something like that with him.

 

I'm new around here, so I don't know Phillip, but your post is a mirror image of one I posted on another regular forum of mine a few days ago.

A regular, and very popular member, just stopped posting for some strange reason, very out of character for him, as he was extremely prolific.

His last post was Sept 11th, and he still hasn't been seen, or heard of. A few of us are quite concerned, but what can you do other than hope they're busy or something?

It just goes to show that even though the vast majority of forum members never meet, and don't really know one another properly, you still build a relationship with them and, in time, come to view them as friends even.

I hope your Phillip turns up soon.

 

I know that he hasn't been well this year but the last I heard was that he was on the path of recovery and taking life at a slightly slower pace . He was also back posting pics of his lovely scenic walks too but hasn't posted for about 5 weeks now.
Agree is it worrying, maybe @Victoria can enlighten us as I think she's in contact with him.

 

Posting about missing people on this forum, I've noticed that Scrungee hasn't posted on here for ages. I do miss his free/bargains threads.

 

I have written Philip and will let you know what I hear.

 

I am trying to contact Philip by email. Any news I shall add to this forum.
Unless he's unfortunately in hospital or laid up he replies in a few days.

 

Thanks folks for your concern re my being AWOL ,..i am almost back to myself in the past few days but was zonked out on meds,..a moving groin hernia decided to wander about inside and caused concern that it would cause a twisted gut,..my doctor decided i needed to be under observation,..so with meds to subside the pain and being listless,..falling asleep looking at TV didn't help either,..just coming back to earth now but not there yet.
