    Evening Chaps,
Please can someone tell me the best time to take cuttings of this lovely shrub? I've been given one which I'll plant out next week and I know they do well in the the local soil type and wld like more of these shrubs via cuttings.

    Thanks,

    Springy
    xx

According to the RHS propagation book that I've been clutching all day.

"Photinia - Root, Nodal, greenwood and semi-ripe cuttings in free-draining compost from summer to winter."

Apparently they root well in rockwool modules and like hormone rooting powder.

Thank you Craig, good to know. At least I've stuck to ONE of the requirements... I dipped them in Hormone Rooting Gel before planting! They're not looking too well, but I should give 'em a few more days to get used to their new home...

    Thanks!
