Photo Copetition ??

:D Nathan I was just in the gallery & it occurred to me that there are quite a few of us posting pictures now so why don't we have a monthly photo competition :confused: It could be garden related only, or you could devide it into :- Flowers, Veg & scenic (hols or days out) but as garden related as poss. :D We could all vote at the end of the month. :D What do you think ?? :D Damm it forgot to tick the box again :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Damm I need a spell check too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome if you are new to the forum. They are a great bunch. :D I know we don't all have digital camaras but I am sure you could scan your photo in then upload it. It really is quite easy as long as you follow the steps on how to do it So how about it Nathan :confused: :confused:

Recently, I have had a lot of things on, and have not had time to do lots of things :rolleyes: .

It is a very good idea, I will start a thread at some time in the VERY near future, I will have to find out about a prize (possibly a gift voucher for a garden centre?).

I would like to say though, Please spread the word, because if the stalwarts of GardenersCorner are the only entrants, it won't be much of a competition, so the more entrants the better.

No problem, we are all very busy at the moment I think. With the photo competition idea, I wasn't really thinking of a prize, just the satisfaction of entering our photos in a comp. The winners photo could be posted on the home page perhaps, each month. If you start offering prizes you are moving into a different ball game & would start costing money, & that is not the idea. Just keep it simple. Maybe we could do a poll? As for picking the winner maybe you could set up a voting facility, where we all vote & then you post the winning picture. I do try to spread the word too. Anyway let me know what you think of that idea. :D
