you have to use a program called PAINT, that comes as a default program for such things like editing photos.

    Go to start..........programs........accesories...Paint.

    open image there and edit.....

better to use a program called paintshop pro7 or 8.

I use the free program Irfanview It'll do simple editing, cropping, rotation, sizing, add text, borders + a lot more and if you download all the plugins as well it'll read and write to and from just about any format you could want

I agree Frogesque, I also use Irfanview. Its free, and I think its brilliant. What I like most is that you can view a collection of photos in a folder as a slide show - just clicking the mouse button for forward and back. The picture also completely fills the screen, making most pictures look much better.
