    Hi fellow gardeners,

I am just new to putting on photo's so just thought i would try to put a photo on of a part of our garden. We had a conservertory built at the end of last year and when it was finished our garden resembled a builders yard, and of course we wanted a nice garden to look out of our conservertory. I bought books and loaned books from the library on garden designs and then my husband and I got to work. We have photographed different parts of the garden but want to just show you this one to see if I have copied it correctly before posting anymore.
The decking was built by my husband Paul as you can see it is a split level garden, and as you come down the steps there is a small stream edged with roofing tiles. The stream isn't working now as the pump as broke. At the back of the stream I have laid bark and cut out holes and then put in pots of flowers.
I have just looked on preview post and can't see my photo so I don't know what to do next. Help!

Pardon me, but it would seem that you may have put your message in the middle of your picture address. A little editing my resolve the problem, and we can see your garden. :D

Fantastic Weekend gardener, another lovely garden on GC. Not sure I would have pinched the wood of my roof to build a shed though LOL...

    Welcome :D

Hi Banana man, thanks for your promt reply, I knew you were only joking about the shed so don't worry about that. The people on this site are fantastic and you get such a laugh with them.
    Best wishes

Nice garden, I like the arbor are you going to grow something over it or keep it pristine?

I have two clematis growing on the arbor now, I draped netting on first so that i can take the climbers off when i have to stain the wood again. I also hung two hanging baskets on each end which looked very pretty in the summer.
We had a metal swing chair before this one, as i got fed up covering it when it rained.
Incidently this photo has the wrong description, it was intended for another part of the garden.

We had a greenhouse where the swing chair is now, so we used the concrete base to lay the slabs on, then in between the joins we put in blue glass, the only trouble is either foxes or cats keep digging it up.
The glass wall hides the compost bin and water butt.

I wish i could show you the before and after of the garden but didn't get our digital camera till a few months ago, now somehow i have lost it, i took it to work and that's the last time i saw it, so can't take anymore photo's. I'm so pleased i saved the others on my computer.

That's a good idea, putting the netting over first. A shame about your camera though, I hope it wasn't sticky fingers as my Grandma used to say.
