I thought I'd share a few snaps of my garden now that it's coming to life in the nice weather. Everything is in pots, nothing planted out. (Partly because I like moving things around to show off whatever is at its best, and partly because we don't know how long we'll live here, so everything in our small-ish garden can come with us if we ever move). The terracotta pots contain edibles (mostly fruit trees), and all the other pots are decorative plants.

Looks wonderful TT. I like the table you have so that the pots are at different heights. I have a container garden too so I think I'll try something similar. :dbgrtmb:

All so beautifully cared for and lovely specimens. I like the idea of shuffling them around when they are at their best...:ideaIPB:

              Thank you, folks!
There are a couple of those tables I've put to use in the garden to give me different heights. They were a nest of tables owned by my Gran. They are pretty hideous really, but after she passed away I couldn't throw them out for nostalgic reasons, so I make use of them in the garden. I don't suppose they'll last forever outside, but I'm enjoying them while they do.
I'm definitely a fan of contrasting colours, and I favour foliage over flowers, but I may work on getting some more flowers next year!

                        Aww, thank you!
I am really looking forward to getting some edibles from it too, this year! Hoping it produces this summer...

It looks most excellent @TurnedThespian, but one plant in particular really caught my eye. What is the plant that almost looks like glowing embers, just next to the chiminea please?

The orangey one is a broom, I think it's called 'Lena.' Not terribly exotic, I'm afraid, but very pretty!

Ah yes, broom. There are some stunning ones, but I thought they were all much taller before they bloomed. I might look out for one.

Trouble is, I'm slightly wary of broom in the garden while my kids are so young. Especially the newest lad who is in the taste test everything stage. I know something about broom that not so many people realise;)
