I have a large lemongrass plant growing in my greenhouse. How do I harvest the plant to use in my stir fries? :lollol:

    Hi Sterile,

you can either dig out what you need if you have a large clump or
Cut it when they are 12 inches tall. Do not cut down to the base but leave
1 inch so it will re-grow.

Toby Buckland was showing how to do Lemongrass on Gardeners World a week or so ago.

You can probably get it on the BBC iplayer, or they do "factsheets" for each episode that it might be on. Go the Beeb gardening website and have a butcher's.
