    only two uploaded, ahh well better than one [​IMG] how can i pull all the flowers out to plant my big bag of daffs? well i cant so the daffs will have to wait. DEE

    haha, birthday prezzi in june off hub, i picked it, ive always wanted one. ill have to pick your brains BM when its time to put it to bed, DEE

    Thanks Newbie, first time ive planted Rudbekia, ihave new seeds for next year i definatley want them in my garden again, great for autumn colour. Cheers DEE

    Lovely and colourful ydd, and the decking looks good too. You appear to be doing a bit like me where you have distinct "areas" which I think is nice.

    After nearly ten years, I'm starting to get overgrown but will never catch up with BM ... although I'm desperately trying to do so but I wasn't here for the first couple of years to monitor and maintain! But he's more tropical and I'm more med so ... (sorry, I'm talking about you, Babe [​IMG] ). You could go for the tropical perhaps with your climate. [​IMG]

    thanks LOL, id love to have a garden like yours and BMs,but 1 too small and 2 the weather in the north easts nearly as bad as scotland :(

    Never give up ... I'm working with red clay, rock base and heat much of the year ... and I'm winning for the most part. [​IMG]

    You just have to find what works for you and I'm experimenting a lot at the moment with things like orchids, bromeliads and others which really don't like my dry climate and it's working keeping them in shade and keeping them damp.

    Gardening can be hit and miss but you have to find what's right for you and your situation. Go for what you like and you may lose ... but you may win and that's the bonus! [​IMG]

    Great advice LOL, i do like to experiment with plants,and my gardens sheltered so ill try some more hottys next year, already been googling hardy exotics. i tried a banana once but it didnt last the wnter in the greenhouse wrapped in fleece ! put me off buying more. DEE

    Loking loverly DEE. Its surprising how much colour you can still have at this time of the year.

    Ahhh thanks PeterS and Helen its nice to get a compliment about your garden, us gardeners know how much work time and money goe,s into our outdoor rooms, so cheers, and PeterS id love to see some pics of your garden with your new camera. DEE [​IMG]
