Thought I'd share some photos of my partner of 24 years, our 3 wonderful sons & our home here in the far north of New Zealand.

Our 3 sons from left. Brayden, Damian, & Hunter with dad & I.

    Our home & surrounds

Our water wheel in flood. This produces most of our off grid power along with 6 solar panels.

One of my favourite tools is my woodstove oven which has a wetback on it to also heat our hot water cylinder.

My bigger veggie garden. We just used trees that needed thinning out in the bush, some chicken wire & bingo! Used a old rectangle tramp frame for a bean runner frame.

Inside my 4x2 plastic greenhouse. I get a good crop of veggies out of this little winner.

The greenhouse, chicken coop. The bigger garden is behind the greenhouse & across from that garden is the pig pen.

Our nearly finished pond area down in front of our house. Still have to cover more banks & plant, gather a few more trailer loads of river rocks, make a waterfall etc etc lol

Our 2 youngest, dad Mike & mum... Me :)

Thank you all..... It is peaceful. I like my loud, heavy music, rock & country & blue grass but my favorite music is listening to the sounds of the bush while sitting on the porch enjoying my morning coffee.
I make sure to listen & look & be grateful for what we have.
Everything we accomplish here is for our children's future & so on. And the enjoyment that comes from working the land & beating the system feels sooooooooooooo good!!!!!! :blue thumb:
