Hi all. I've had this for several years but recently noticed a colour change with red spots on SOME of the leaves. Is this a disease, if so will it spread and how do I treat it? TIA

I’m thinking possibly chlorosis? Pieris are acid loving plants, is it in ericaceous compost? If it is, it might just need a feed with a suitable product.

As @Freddy , you need to top dress with some ericaceous compost and give it regular feeds of ericaceous liquid plant food, like Doffs or GrowSure in the Range/Homebase etc

You will probably not remove the spots on the existing leaves, but the new growth should be fine.

Chelated iron feed is my way of sorting it out faster, along with the feeding suggested by ricky101.

If its in the same pot after 8 yrs its bound to be starved even with the addition of some fertiliser.
Being an acid lover bonemeal in the Fish Blood and "Bone" adds calcium so actually makes the chlorosis worse.

If you intend keeping it in that pot you really need to give it a chelated iron feed and then move on to a liquid feed for acid loving plants once a week during the growing season.

How big is the pot? I would be looking at re-potting into a larger pot, using ericaceous compost mixed with 20% horticultural grit.

Looking at it again, the pot seems a bit on the small side. If it were me, I’d pot it on into a larger pot (not massively larger). I’d probably take the opportunity to carefully remove some of the old compost too.

Is that the same as sequestered iron?

As far as I know it does the same job, I think iron sulphate is different,
