Lovely, no FANTASTIC, Beefy! You were obviously at some show / rally?

T'other half worked for Renault Trucks for 23 years ... well no ... it was Chrysler (Dodge) then Peugeot/Talbot then Karrier then Renault.

Of course the pride of the pack there is the Magnum! :D He was always partial to the 20 Williams/Renault Magnums which at the time at 560hp were the most powerful production trucks in the world, and they had a nice blue paintjob .... but you probably know this already!

Ive driven one of them LOL after Renault changed them. One of the guys that I worked with bought one of them.
Unfourtunately the Ferrari/ Micheal Shumacker truck was written off and the owner badly hurt a few years ago and he has just got back on the road again sadly the truck was beyond repair.
Magnum - what can I say the original dance through cab :D

Sad about the F/MB incident. The 1991 Motor Show at the NEC was the launch of the Magnum and t'other half remembers people queueing to dance through the cab! Mad! :D

no LOL no Macks . In 1991 the Magnum was the latest in design and technology though and we had never seen a truck with sooo much space inside.

Agree with you GW ... ain't the paintwork GREAT!

It takes me back to the days in the States and I left there end-1977! Always loved the paintwork on the trucks. One of my all-time favourite movies is Convoy with Kris Kristophosen ... "Mercy sakes alive, it looks like we've got us a convoy!" Of course, there's also Smokey and the Bandit with with Burt Reynolds!
