I know it has been discussed somewhere, but I have three Cayenne chillies which today are 17" (43cm) tall and seem to like life in my conservatory.
Question is .. should I pinch them out?
As this is my first chillie venture I want to do right for them.:thmb:

I work on the basis of pinching out Peppers if they don't do it by themselves, but I think it puts them back a couple of weeks ...

I think yours look a bit leggy, so although tall they don't have many leave nodes.

I've got 4 varieties. Two have some branching, the third is just starting to branch at the top, and is a good 18" tall, and the fourth ("Demon Red") is behaving like a bush, and although only 6" tall is branching all over the plant :)

    Thanks K
I knew you would come up with the answer.
There are some small branches showing on the main growing tip. When I can get hold of it in a day or two I shall pinch it out.
    Thanks again
