I've grown a few varieties of heritage tomatoes this year, thanks to Cinammon, and now they are growing well I'm not sure whether I should pinch out the side shoots? I have
    Zapotec
    Chereola
    Green zebra
    Cover de pigeon
    Charbonneuse
    Bloody butcher
    Black Russian
    Russian persimmon
    Black seman

The chereolas are definitely looking bush type, but not sure about the others.

I dont know the names of those tomatoes but Monty don said if it doesn't have any obviously single stem its a bush tomato but if it has an obvious central stem then it is a cordon variety and you need to pinch out the side shoots

In general terms 'determinate' varieties are cordon type and require side-shoot removal and the 'indeterminate' varieties are bush type and don't require side-shoot removal.

You should be able to find out which types you have if you Google the varieties.
