Pink Quill advice

    I have a pink quill and it looks like its got "babies"

    Can I split them? When's the best time to do it and how?

    Hi LMRR your pink quill (tillandsia cyaanea) flowers for many months the main plant may die and be replaced by the offsets produced at the base of the plant which will quickly grow to a larger size than the mother plant when you can seperate them if you wish. They are bromeliads they don't like too much water and can soon rot some people don't water them direct and just spray them occasionally.

    Thanks Walnut. It had a pink quill on it before and that bit died so I pulled it off and then the 2 appeared lol. I don't water it much as I forget.
